Feel free to call me a sucker for a Southern tongued actor, but this exchange with Rudy really had me taking notice of Fred. I’ve got to say that in the face of Thompson’s stoic black-and-white logic on illegal immigration, Rudy really seemed to wilt with each passing second. If Fred could be this on target and focused in his responses to every question thrown at him, I think a lot more conservatives would be heading in his direction.
