Just noticed this over at Hot Air. Let’s try to help clear something up for those wayward Huckabee supporters. You can look at his economic policies, his foreign policy, his John Edwards-esque populism, his constant shifting, or whatever else you like. The truth is obvious.

Update: Michelle Malkin thinks he’s toast.

Huckabee is the only true conservative in the race. Truly pro-life, pro-2nd amendment, pro strong national defense and limited government. He is pro Fair Tax and getting rid of the American gestapo - the IRS, which is the enemy of freedom.
I have voted Republican my entire life, even holding my nose to vote for the establishment candidate, Bob Dole, but I am sick and tired of the crap. Michelle, you and the others are so obvious when you are all speaking from the Club of Growth playbook. It’s sickening. I and many others now see the true you and Coulter and Limbaugh and Hannity. You are sold out to special interests and money. You are followers of the mainline Republican establishment and Club of Growth. You are so obvious because you have not looked at the facts of Huckabee’s record and beliefs but have followed the talking points. You are a puppet.
I will never vote for McCain. I will now do what I’ve wanted to do for a long time and that is to vote Constitution Party. Thanks to you and your fellow puppets for destroying the Republican Party. Long live the Constitution Party and may it prosper as the true conservative party.
Feel free to vote how you like, that’s what you should’ve been doing for the entirity of your adult life. Of course, you’ll be handing the election to the Democrats, and unfortunately the country won’t ‘wake up’ after a four year stint of Hillary. We both know the damage will be slower building than that. As for selling out, I’d love to know what you do because my Club for Growth kickbacks must’ve been sent out to the wrong address. I haven’t received any of them!
As far as Huckabee goes, we don’t have to dip far back to see what he’s done. He was in favor of a national smoking ban, he supported tuition breaks for illegal immigrants, he wasn’t aware of the NIE two days after it was released as the largest (and certainly most important) News story of the day. The only thing he’s brought to the race is an infusion of blatant playing for the Evangelical vote, which marks him as unelectable. He’s the blatantly religious nightmare that all the liberals think that Bush is. He simply wouldn’t win, and as many of us have said, we don’t want him to.
We can agree on one thing, though. Neither of us want Straight Talk to march for us in November!
(Actually, the fair tax. We agree on two things, but that idea is one that won’t be seeing the light of day any time soon. Not even President Huckabee would be enacting that one.)
Huckleberry hound was a one caucus wonder…
I lived in Arkansas for 2 years. I paid a 8% state income tax that Huckleberry helped establish, not reduce. NW Arkansas is in the 21st century because of Wal-Mart, Tyson’s and JB Hunt… the rest of the state is stuck in the 1950’s and Clinton and Huckleberry helped to keep it last in about every category that matters.
Huckleberry drained votes from Fred, not the other way around.
You both are wrong and with just a little effort you can get your facts straight.
Plenty of research done already. Luckily for those of us who disagree with you, Huckabee isn’t going to be the nominee.
