(Via Hot Air) First it was Bush’s fault that Iraq was going bad. Then it was the military’s ineffectiveness. Then it was the Iraqis. Then it was Bush again. Now it’s the Iraqis who have ‘lost the opportunity’ that the Surge (that by Obama’s logic didn’t work in the first place) had created. Watch for the Democrats to continue to ignore progress in Iraq. Maybe you can create some sort of home game for who will be to blame next. Ooh, we haven’t heard bad things about Halliburton for a while, maybe it’ll be their turn. Obama’s plan? Get the hell out of Iraq ASAP and leave the Iraqis to kill each other off. This would certainly help his goal of getting back on Iran’s good side. They could sweep in and take what provinces they desire, while Obama would get in good with Al Qaeda as well, given that they could set up shop again in Anbar.
For people who seem to be incredibly worried about ‘hope’ at home or in places like Darfur and Palestine, they sure don’t seem too interested in what happens to the Iraqi people. If you want to elect Barack Obama on foreign policy, you might as well elect the RSS feed over at Zogby polling. They both have the same amount of experience, thoughtfulness, and executive leadership abilities.

How about the audacity to hope for victory, Mr. Obama?
