I can’t believe she keeps playing this card. Admittedly, we were all surprised that she got the favorables and bumps for it in New Hampshire, but it isn’t the sort of trick that you can trot out before every race and expect to get the same sympathetic results. I know many strong, independent women who were sad to see her breaking down the first time. I have a feeling that if it happens once or twice more (and it probably will) then she’s going to see the backlash that we all expected the first time she pulled it.

Bush couldn’t get away with the “it’s hard work” line during the 2004 Presidential debates; Hillary doesn’t play teary-eyed victim any better. The sooner her campaign realizes that, the better for all concerned. Conventional wisdom (and her recent lackluster primary performances) dictates that she would be a much better Dem for us to face off against in November. So please, Hillary, get it together! If not for yourself, for your good buddies over at the vast right-wing conspiracy!
