Iranian President Ahmadinejad still thinks hidden Imam is waiting and rooting for him.
Posted by Neocon in Iran, Nutter Butters, Religion, Terrorism(Via Gateway Pundit) Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad spoke at a gathering to commemorate the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution recently, and beyond the usual Death To America (and parts of Europe, too!), he had a little extra cocoa puffs added in that is ripe for blog fodder.
In another part of his speech, Ahmadinejad claimed that his government is supported by the Hidden Imam, the holy 12th Imam revered by Shi’ites around the world who await his return from occultation and the reign of justice.
After thanking the Hidden Imam for his support, Ahmadinejad blasted Western governments for ”creating obstacles” to impede Iran’s nuclear progress.
There’s more news out about the Iranian nuclear program, by the way, but I think what Ahma is trying to say is this…
In less wacky (yet disturbing) news, Iran is loading nuke fuel into their centrifuges.
Also, Hezbollah is spouting that “the clock on Israel’s demise is ticking.”
