The campaign has already put a muzzle on Michelle Obama after her ‘first time pride’ comments caused such a stir, but that doesn’t stop old Michelle material (that I’ve never seen at least) from popping up to nip at Obama’s heels. Here’s what Michelle Obama said during an appearance at the University of South Carolina in January. (Follow link for video)
“We don’t like being pushed outside of our comfort zones. You know it right here on this campus. You know people sitting at different tables- you all living in different dorms. I was there. You’re not talking to eachother, taking advantage that you’re in this diverse community. Because sometimes it’s easier to hold on to your own stereotypes and misconceptions. It makes you feel justified in your own ignorance… That’s America. So the challenge for us is are we ready for change?”
So when will we see this message on a billboard somewhere?
We all know what change you’re peddling, Michelle, and I don’t think we want any. We’re full up on crazy here already.
