Fair enough.

Reaction from around the right-wing of the internet seems to be that the Democrats are making a mistake with this line of attack. I’m inclined to agree, especially since they can’t use the excuse that McCain’s remarks weren’t clear. Even mainstream media outlets have called the Democrats on twisting McCain’s words to imply some sort of perpetual 100 year war. If anything, this will inadvertently highlight the positive possibilities that success in Iraq would bring.
