Obama running for President of Earth
Posted by Neocon in 2008 Race, Democrats, Foreign PolicyOr so it would appear if you listen to his speech from Germany.
‘I come to Berlin as so many of my countrymen have come before. Tonight, I speak to you not as a candidate for President, but as a citizen — a proud citizen of the United States, and a fellow citizen of the world.’
‘People of Berlin — people of the world — this is our moment. This is our time.’
Is anyone really surprised by all this tripe? Using the internal Obama logic, why shouldn’t he be in charge of everything? His state senate career was more than enough experience to run for President, by running for President of the United States, he now has more than enough experience to run for global messiah.
After watching this Reagan/JFK ripoff I think I know what Obama’s in-flight entertainment was:

This man is not JFK², no matter how hard he may try. Fair warning to anyone watching the cable news network coverage of this, you might short out your TVs with all the drooling that these anchors are doing. Don’t say you weren’t forewarned.

All Hail the President of the World.
You echo my sentiments. His third autobiography should be titled “The Audacity of Arrogance”.
